Being the victim of racism on social media is much more common than you might think. And sometimes unsuspected celebrities are victims.
For example Nikos Aliagas, famous French presenter of Greek origin, known in particular for having animated the star Academy but also 50 minutes Inside was the victim of racism on social networks.
This animator rather appreciated by the French at first sight gives himself up in an interview dedicated to Telestar where he says he is a victim of racism from his origins.
He explains that he is often asked to support the Greek people but that in view of his position it is delicate that he intervenes he says that if he does it will pass for a communication operation and that if he does not not is that he does nothing because he is a bourgeois.
Nikos Aliagas does not necessarily receive personal insults but especially many xenophobic or anti-Semitic insults. He notably received tweet telling him that he had nothing to do in France that he should return to his country or even worse that he should have been killed during the dictatorship in Greece.
He tells us that he prefers to take all this violence on social networks while laughing because it is a good way to get over it and not to pay attention to it.
Indeed the behavior that Nikos Aliagas adopts in the face of racist insults is good, but it is important to keep talking about these acts and especially to say stop, so to say No
